Inuwa Lauds Gombe for Voting APC


 Winner of the Saturday governorship election in Gombe State, Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya has expressed gratitude to God and the people of the state for voting him and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the state House of Assembly in the just concluded elections.

Yahaya thanked the good people of Gombe for their support towards  his victory and that of other APC candidates.

The governor-elect reinstated his commitment to begin implementation of all promises he made during campaign as soon as he assumed office.

Speaking on his plans to empower the youth, the Yahaya reaffirmed his pledge that no Gombe youth will be idle under his administration, as he would embark on massive employment as well as stimulate youth friendly initiatives to pull them out of unemployment and poverty.

He promised to work hard in order to reinforce the security of the state as a way of insulating the youths from falling prey to criminals and criminality.

Yahaya pledged to improve on the welfare of the youth and give them a chance to serve the Gombe people while ensuring that education, rural development and security would be accorded priority under him.

The incoming governor said  his administration will work passionately to increase the Gombe water capacity from the current 70 milion as parts of measures to increase access to safe water and guarantee improved hygiene once he assume power.

Inuwa said through that Intervention, he believes the perennial incidents of water borne diseases in the state would become a thing of the past.

He enjoined the people to support the next administration saying only that can the state enjoy accelerated development and the peace it deserves.
