COVID-19:Governor Bagudu Set Up A Task Force To Deal with The Scourge



In a bid to curtail the spread of Corona Virus (COVID-19) in the country, the Kebbi State Government has further taken proactive measures to protect its citizens, a task force has been set up to deal with the scourge.
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abubakar Mu’azu Dakingari quotes the Ag. Head of the Civil Service Hajiya Fatima Sani Ango as saying the Governor Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has directed that civil servants with exception of those mentioned below are to remain and work from home with effect from Wednesday 25th March, 2020. This is for an initial two weeks.
The directive, however, does not include those civil servants on essential services such as; Health Personnel, Financial Institutions, Board of Internal Revenue, Water Board, Media outfits, Electricity Supply, Security and Emergency Services are exempted from the directive.
The Governor requests that citizens to remain vigilant, calm and report any suspected case to the health authorities.
