The Challenges Of Real Estate Developer In Nigeria Is Land Use Acts-Maxwel

The Chairman and Executive Officer of Seman global services Ltd, Mr Nwese Stephen Maxwell, has said that the Land Use Acts was one of the challenges confronting the real housing developers in the country.

Maxwell in an exclusive chat with the Oduduwa Watch in his office in Abuja over the weekend said that the Seman global services was making impact in real estate in Abuja and its environ.

He said that the company was making all efforts to make affordable houses available for the masses to reduce poverty in the society.

He, however, said that the Land Use Acts was still a challenge that government needed  to address in the gaol of providing the citizens with affordable houses must be met.

"The challenge is the land use acts is not favorable to meet our targeted audiencs.

"One of the areas that we want government to come in is that the government should provide land for real estate developer in enabling area through federal housing fund and long time payment manner for suitable low income earner."he said.
