Gov.Bagudu Presents 2021 Budget Proposal




Kebbi State Government has presented 2021 Budget Proposal to the State House of Assembly of One Hundred and Forty One Billion, Six Hundred and Forty Four Million, Two Hundred and Seventy Thousand, One Hundred and Nineteen Naira for approval.

The proposal has been tagged as “Budget of Economic rejuvenation”. Presenting the appropriation bill, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu said fiscal outcome for 2021 revenue of N141,644,270,199 billion include grants and programme-backed funds of development partners amounting to about N18.1 Billion.
He said the proposed budget of economic rejuvenation was made up of N49,506,039,786 recurrent expenditure and N92,138,230,333 for capital projects.
Governor Abubakar Bagudu informed members of the Assembly that the 2021 Budget was prepared in line with the Federal Government’s outlook for the 2021 fiscal year, based on the benchmark of oil price of forty dollars per barrel.
Receiving the Budget proposal, the Speaker of the House, Rt. Honourable Sama’ila AbdulMumini Kamba said the legislature would give speedy passage to the appropriation bill to enable the executive arm forge ahead with services to the people.
He affirmed the commitment of members to joining hands with the executive arm towards achieving the goals of development.
