Gov Okowa Achievements Unprecedented in Delta State- Hon Fejioku

The Senior Special Assistant on Protocol to the Governor of Delta State, Hon Samuel Fejioku has described the six years in office of Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as the governor of Delta State as unprecedented, saying his giant strides in infrastructure, health, education and other sectors deserve commendation. 

He stated this while chatting with Newsmen at his polling unit during the just concluded Local Government election in Delta State. 

Hon Fejioku said Deltans have not had it so good before the coming on board of Gov Okowa, adding that his leadership has brought tremendous development to the cities and grassroots.

" Infrastructure strides of the government cut across all the 25 local government Area Councils; new roads were constructed, upgrade of health and education facilities, today, we have one of the leading airport in the country".

The SSA disclosed further that, over 50,000 jobs have been created directly or indirectly through Strategic Wealth Creation of the government.

He noted that, the experience of the governor over the years has helped him in providing good leadership and governance in Deltan state. 

While commenting on the Council polls, Hon Fejioku said aside for the late arrival of material, the election was peaceful, credible and wishes of the people were allowed to count as they cast their votes according to their conscience without molestation or intimidation.

" Delta is a PDP state; elections conducted over the years across the 25 local Governments have always be a landslide victory for the party. The performance of the governor is another added advantage to our party candidates at the polls".

He said people of the state are not voting for candidate as an individual but for the party which has delivered it promises and mandate through the governor. 

He advised all Deltans to shun violence and engage in legitimate activities in accordance with the Law guiding the state.
