Hon Nwanosike: Why Wike Should Contest 2023 Presidential Election, Rolls Out 5 Point Agenda For LG
He stated this while feeding questions from Oduduwa Watch during the just concluded Local Government election in the state.
He said Governor Wike has what it takes to change the narrative of bad and incompetent government in the country. " If Governor Wike can built first class Flyovers using Julius Berger, improved Health System, functional education, Infrastructural development across all the Local Government Area Councils of the state, improved workers/ government relations, investment in Agriculture among others within the available resources; then, if given the opportunity, Wike will be a better replacement to the current APC government in the country.
Hon Nwanosike said since Governor Wike became actively involved in the politics of Rivers State and Federal Government, his leadership prowess has added in no small value to the development of the nation.
''Governor Wike has shown high capacity in leadership; the laudable achievements so far recorded in Rivers State has redefined governance from what it used to be in the state".
He said Nigerians should give Wike a chance and necessary support to manage the resources of the nation, adding that, he has done tremendously well in governance in Rivers State. " With the caliber of Wike as the president of Nigeria, our country will no doubt be better repositioned".
According to him, " Nigeria needs to think deeply this time around, support competent and intelligent politician that has capacity to deliver on the mandate of good governance.Nigerians have learnt their lesson in a hard way by voting for APC and cannot afford to vote for incompetent and selfish president again".
It is on this note that we are pleading with our Governor, a great transformer and game changer to throw in his hat into the ring comes 2023 presidential election.
He said, Governor Wike has been tested in Rivers State and his giant strides in the state is enough testimonies that if given opportunity to serve the country, Nigeria will be a better place to live when compare to inefficient APC Buhari led government.
" I can only asked Nigerians to rally round the governor and give him the needed support in the build up to the 2023 election.
Meanwhile, He commended the Governor and State Electoral Commission for conducting free, fair and credible local government election that is free of rancour and crisis.
He charged Federal Electoral body to emulate and learn from Rivers State electoral process that give equal right and opportunity to all the political parties that participated in the poll without taking sides.
To him, every politician and government must tailor their policies and program towards the masses, saying their policies must be people oriented centre on the well-being of its citizens.
He noted that, his government will focus attention on five point agenda that will better the lots of the people. " We are here to give our best to our people. Our people must key into out five point agenda of fighting insecurity, rebuilding decay infrastructure, provide functional education, improved Agriculture and Health Care to the people".
" My team and I are going to pursue vigorously the five point agenda, three times of what we pursued in our first term, with high hope of bringing dividend of democracy to the door step of everybody in the local government".
He assured the people of the council of better days ahead and execution of the five points agenda to the letter.
