Remi Adebayo Terminates His Appointment As Director of Media and Publicity, Atiku Care Foundation
He recall that the first and subsequent volunteered appointments were anchored on professional calling which progressively saw him serving the Southwest, deputising the erstwhile national Media Director and later in acting capacity as national Director Media and Publicity.
In all these, he discharged his duties with professionalism and dedication to which the Foundation and onlookers could attest today. I am not one with the crave whatsoever for inanities of titles but responsibility which is why my so-called redeployment as National Director of Welfare cannot work with me as I have no previous learning or experience as a caregiver.
While I will submit and continually subscribe to the vision and leadership of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, I will continue to advocate that a foundation in his name should be professionally reorganised for impacts in fulfillment of its mandate and be rescued from self-marketing.
Seeing this coming is an understatement, having observed the coldness my insistence to run the ACF professionally as an apolitical organisation in line with the directive of the His Excellency, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar had attracted. I can understand, you are a politician, not cut for the civil society.
