Ibadan Council Boss Promises To Emulate Gov Seyi Makinde Giant Strides

Hon Yusuff Sahib Adedayo, the newly elected chairman of the Ibadan North Local Government Area Council of Oyo State has promised to follow the footsteps of Governor Seyi Makinde whose administration has brought rapid development to the Oyo State. 

The Chairman stated this while chatting with the Oduduwa Watch in his office; describing Governor Makinde as a pacesetter, considering his giant strides since he assumed office as the Executive Governor of Oyo State. 

He commended the governor for giving him the opportunity to serve the people of Ibadan North as chairman, saying he will not disappoint the confidence repose in him. 

" My victory at the poll was made possible with the support of God, the governor and good people of Ibadan North who came out in their numbers to cast their votes for me".

Hon Adedayo assured the people of his local government that, he will replicate the good work of the governor at the council level within the available resources at his disposal. 

" As a Council Chairman, we all know the responsibilities demands of the elected executives at the local government levels; there is no new thing to do than to emulate what the governor is doing. Grading of roads, digging of boreholes among other social amenities will be brought to the doorstep of the masses".

He thanked the governor for allowing the votes of the masses to count and also commended the peaceful composition of the voters before, during and after the election. 

The Executive Chairman promised to deliver dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroot, adding that leadership is nothing but a service to humanity.
