EMIR OF KANO'S CORONATION: Aare Musulumi of Yoruba Commends Ganduje Says Monarch is a Peace Loving Emir


The Aare Musulumi of Yoruba in Kano State, Aare Surajudeen Mohammed Adewuyi has commended Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje for supporting the choice of Aminu Ado Bayero as the Emir of Kano, saying monarch is a peace loving man.

He stated this during the Presentation of Staff of Office to the Emir by Governor Ganduje, Aminu Ado Bayero is the 15th Fulani Emir of Kano.

Bayero ascended the throne on March 9 2020 following the deposition of his Nephew, Mohammad Sanusi II by the governor of Kano State. 

While speaking, Governor Ganduje advised the emir to distance himself from partisan politics, urging him to remain professional in the discharge of his duties. 

In his acceptance speech, Bayero promised to be fair and just in the course of his duties. 

In the same vein, Aare Surajudeen said the new emir installation was a popular demand from Kano Emirate, adding that eversince he was coronated, Kano State has been peaceful. 

He added that, there is a cordial relationship among the Kano indigenes and all the non indigenes in the state, courtesy of the fatherly love extended to non indigenes in Kano by the emir.

In his words " We see Kano as our second home and we will continue to do everything that will bring peace and progress to Kano Emirate. 

" Bayero is accommodating, friendly and peaceful monarch that cherishes non indigenes; without mincing words, Governor Ganduje has foresight with the choice of Emir Aminu Bayero as Emir of Kano State".

He prayed for peaceful reign and more development during his reign as the 15th Emir of Kano. 

Speaking with Oduduwa Watch, Mr Aminu Inua, representative of Access Bank said the bank collaborates with MTN and Kano Emirates Council to provide employment through the agency banking introduced by the CBN. 

Inua described Bayero as a man of integrity that is eager to bring development to Kano State in collaboration with Kano Government. " We are determined at Access Bank to collaborate with the Emirate to provide opportunity for the youth of Kano".
