Since the threshold of this current regime in the helms of affairs of the governance in the State of Osun.
Our indefatigable and amiable Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola the Executive Governor of State of Osun has proven beyond the reasonable doubt, that he is a true, ardent and progressive lover of Iwoland. In fact there is no gain saying the fact that lwoland is lucky to have you as a dynamic and progressive Governor of our dear state in this time around because Iwo has been viciously neglected and marginalized over the years, in terms of social amenities and infrastructural developments.
Although, we are proud and happy for your outstanding efforts you have always shown and the best of your commitment to the growth and development of Iwoland, by improving the lots of the people in terms of economic status, social well-beings and over all interest of the good people of Iwo cum peaceful co-existence being enjoyed in Iwo and Osun State in general. It is now axiomatic that you have Iwo in mind to right the wrongs of the past. Iwoland would never forget your undiluted and unflinching support you have shown to us in so many ways.
It is necessary and essential to express our gratitude from time to time to our (God sent) benefactor who has been so magnanimous in delivering on some of his electoral promises to Iwoland.
Notable among them are as follows:
• Positive instrumentality in the facilitating and the siting of the Federal College of Education in Iwo.
• Rehabilitation of Iwo-Osogbo Road.
• Total completion of the road leading to Olowu Palace in Kuta Ayedire local Government of Osun State.
• Re-Construction of Lawyer Atanda to lkire Ile road in Iwo, Osun State.
• Thorough over-lay of Odo-ori to Adeeke Road Iwo, Osun State.
• Spot-patching of Bowen University road to Kaara Junction Oyo Road Iwo.
• Dredging of Iwo Water Works Dam.
• Employment of Iwoland indigenes into Teaching service Commission (TESCOM).
Of recent, the Executive Governor of State of Osun has graciously approved and embarked on massive emergency maintenance of roads in Iwoland. The roads spanning from Odo- Ori to Adeeke, Iwo with a length of 5.460 km.
OSSADEP junction to Awe oyo road, Gbongan, Ile –Ogbo/ Iwo road linking Ayedaade/ Ayedire and Iwo Local Government Areas covers a length of 24. 26 km and Ogbaagba/ Ikire-ile/ Ajagunlase road in Ola-Oluwa Local Government Area with a length of 18km and many more are still coming.
While commending Mr. Governor for these rare feats and uncommon love shown to us in Iwo land, and for these we want to say A BIG THANKS YOU to Mr. Governor.
