Bayelsa APC Women Laud Buhari Over Sylva

President Muhammadu Buhari has been commended for the appointment and deployment of a former Bayelsa State governor, Timipre Sylva, as Minister of State, Petroleum Resources.

Women leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state, Mrs. Cynthia Princewill who described the appointment a plus to every Bayelsian, stated this while reacting to the inauguration on Wednesday of the new cabinet by the President.

"We are celebrating our leader because we know the potentials in him and we are sure that he will deliver,"  Princewill had noted.

Also speaking on the party primary's ahead of the November governorship election in Bayelsa State, the party chieftain expressed confidence that the APC would emerge victorious being the only organised party in the state.

"We have less number of  aspirants and the party believe in direct primary where every card- carrying members of our party will elect our candidate.  Whoever we pick will be the flagbearer of the party to unseat the ruling PDP in forthcoming November governorship election," Princewill said.

She urged the women to continue praying for the good of the party and Bayelsa State.

Sylva who was a front-runner for the governorship seat in Bayelsa under the platform of the APC was appointed by President Buhari and assigned to the Petroleum Resources ministry where the President also serves as its substantive minister.
