Ondo Kingdom Coalition 2020 Begins Grassroots Mobilization For Aketi

Coalition 2020 in Ondo Kingdom, as part of their strategy to return their adopted candidate, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for second term in office has embarked on a massive grassroot mobilisation.

Ondo kingdom which comprises of Ondo West and East held a mobilisation, sensitization meeting with leaders of political parties, interest groups and Opinion leaders at Omolore street, Yaba , Ondo West Local Government Areas, Ondo State.

The meeting had in attendance, Deputy National Chairman of the Alliance of Social Democrats, who is also the State Chairman of Coalition 2020 group, Otunba Akin Akinbobola, Hon Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Mrs Lola Fagbemi who was represented by her Special Assistant on political, Iyaloja General of Ondo State, Chief Mrs Iwalola Eunice Adefemiwa, National President, Country Women Association of Nigeria, Princess Ade Ogunleye, others include; Former State Chairman, NURTW Chief Ariyo Ajiroba, National President, National Association of Nigerian Traders, Pastor Mayowa OIawoye, State chairman, Agricultural Renewal Movement, Engr Fadoju Olushola, State Coordinator, Grassroots Democratic Movement, Hon Mrs Tope Oluwagbemisola, Comrade Awama (aka Barbwire) and others.

 Over 20 political parties Chairmen, about 26 Special interest organizations Chairmen and a host of other Community and political leaders in Ondo kingdom were in attendance.

The meeting centered on how to massively canvass for votes for the return of the  incumbent Governor of the state for the second term.

The Coalition Chairman, charged all  members to embark on house to house, street to street campaign to ensure they delivered massively for the Governor at their respective wards and units 

According to him, "Ondo East and Ondo West will begin to hold a separate meetings to further propagate the gospel of the second term bid of the Governor at every political wards and units across the two local governments." 

Ondo West leadership of the Coalition shall meet again on Thursday same venue, while Ondo East will meet on Friday in Bolorunduro, in Ondo East.
