Akeredolu is God chosen says Ex lawmaker


A former Ondo State House Assembly member, Hon Ajibola Adegoroye Michael has described Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as God chosen saying his laudable achievements in the last four years translated to massive votes for him in the just concluded governorship poll in the state. 

He stated this while speaking  with the Oduduwa correspondent during the Saturday governorship election at his country home in Owo.

Hon Adegoroye who is the Education Secretary said the endorsement by traditional rulers across the state further testify to the fact that the governor has done well in all sectors of the state. 

" Mr Governor is Mr Talk and Do; if Olukare, Olufon and other Obas can reffered to him as Talk and Do Governor, it is a testimony of his good work. 

In his words, " The primary schools he has renovated in ondo state is over 500 schools, provision of desk and chairs, playing equipment for pupils, payment of workers salaries as at when due and offsetting inherited salaries stands him out as a visionary governor".

He noted that the infrastructure development across the state is second to none as every nook and cranny of the state have witnessed transformation. "You can see the type of roads he is doing which could be compared to overseas standard; I will prefer to call him a magician because i don't know how is doing it".

He stated that the election and the victory is not for Akeredolu alone but for the entire people of Owo and Ondo State.
He commended the peaceful disposition of the voters who came out en mass to vote for the workaholic governor saying despite the earlier morning rain, the people were determined to return Akeredolu back to office.

He saluted the courage of the security agencies and INEC for their unbiased posture before and during the polls. 

" I gave kudos to the security men and INEC for a done well job, no intimidation nor violence throughout the election period".
