JIGAWA LG POLL:NSCDC Deploys1300 Personnel

In preparation for jigawa local government Election,the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps Jigawa state Command has deployed more that 1300 personnel across the state for ensuring free fear and credible election in the state.

The State commander Mustapher Talba (cc) gave this directives for the deployment through the deputy commander operations, Muntaka Hussain.

The personnel will ensure adequate security before,during and after the Election.

All this officers are been deployed to various polling Unit,Collation centers and other strategic places and they are to work pari pasu with other sister security agencies .The personnel are to also provide Security at both Jisiec officers,voters,sensitive and non sensitive materials and the general public by extention. Parts of the strategies deployed include 24hrs surveillance through mounting mobile and static patrol teams at flash locations.

Rapid Response Team are also stationed at State and Area command across the state for speedy response to emergency situation and reinforcements.

The State commandant,in a guest to record a hitch-free electioneering process,strongly admonished his personnel to strictly adhere to the rules of engagement which include the use of minimum force,professionalism,zero tolerance for corruption and fairness  among others. 

He also enjoined parents and party stalwarts to caution their wards and supporters to desist from commuting anything capable of jeopardizing the relative peace enjoyed in the state .

He further,on behalf of the command,wish the state a peaceful and successful electioneering exercise

Also speaking with the CDPRO Adamu shehu said that the state command of Nigeria Security and civil defence corps has been enjoying good relation with state government under the leadership of his Excellency Governor Muhammad Baderu the Executive Governor of Jigawa state.
