Empowerment: Rep. Akinremi Trains, Empowers Constituents.

It was a festival of joy as the good people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency witnessed another carnival-like event at the empowerment programme organized by the lawmaker representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon Olaide Akinremi popularly known as Jagaban for his constituents where about 100 beneficiaries were given empowerment items.

This empowerment programme held on Friday 16th December 2022 at the Prince Akinremi Jagaban Hall, Samonda, Ibadan had in attendance dignitaries from within and outside Ibadan North Federal Constituency, who came to grace the occasion.

 In his address, Rep. Akinremi who's represented by the chairman All progressives Congress ( APC) Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Alhaji Taofeek Olayiwola noted that this event isn't the first of employment programme from him in Ibadan North Federal Constituency, adding that it gladdens his heart that a large number of people who will be getting items there have acquired needed skills on dried fish processing to put the items into use.

He assured his constituents that he will continue to facilitate opportunities that will set them on the path of self-sufficiency, and as such , he encouraged all the beneficiaries, as well as those who will benefit later to take good advantage and make judicious use of all of his empowerment initiatives.

" This is just the beginning as it's a tip of the iceberg of the empowerment programmes he will be holding again in few months from now for the good people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency" he said.

In his address, Hon Aseyori Mathew the secretary to the local government Ibadan North urged party members to support Akinremi to be elected for another term come 2023.

" Our local government has produced members of the house of representatives in the past but aside the good work of Rep. Akinremi that we can see physically and that makes him stand out amongst them.

"We have tested and trusted Rep. Akinremi and he has passed. We are giving him another term.

We are of the opinion that if this kind of programmes have been happening in the past the level of poverty would have been drastically reduced.

" I want to appeal to other political office holders especially within Oyo South to emulate the exemplary leadership qualities of Rep. Akinremi and make the most meaningful impact through their various offices" he concluded.Sanmi Olatubosun oduduwawatch
