DELTA POLICE COMMAND DEBUNKS VIRAL KIDNAPPING CLIP


The Delta State Police Command has debunks the viral audio clip of the alleged incessant kidnapping along the Jesse Road in the State.

According to the information released to Journalists by Public Relations Officer of Delta State Command, DSP. Edafe Brighter, FCIA yesterday in Asaba,while response to the alleged viral audio clip shares on social media platforms mainly on WhatsApp, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, Wale Abass debunks the kidnapping of twenty person’s and killings of ten person’s as contain in the viral audio clip which is false and an obvious exaggeration by the Narrator.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police Operations, DCP. Johnson Adenola, the Area Commanders of  Agbo and Sapele Area Commands respectively were directed by CP. Abass to embarks on-the-spot assessment of the Ugbehwore Town Jesse Ethiope West LGA, Delta State as well as immediate deployment of tactical teams to complement the efforts of the DPO in the Area.
He admonished the members of the public to embrace way of giving useful, credible and timely information. 

The CP promised that perpetrator of the false and heinous act are surely in cahoots with some indigenes of the Town. Hence, the Traditional and Community Leaders, Local Heads should sensitize members of their community on the consequences of conspiring with criminal and legal implications” He stated.

We are assures the public our Command’s commitment to partners with the Edo State Police Command as the area in question is a boundary between Edo State and Delta State even providing full security to make sure our roads are completely safe for road users” Edafe.
