Kano LG Election is Violence Free,Says AIG

The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Kano/ Jigawa Zones, AIG Sodiq Bello has described the local government election in Kano State as peaceful and violence free. 

He stated this while chatting with the Oduduwa Watch Correspondent in Kano during the monitoring of the poll. 

The AIG said his command put a lot of security architecture in place to ensure peaceful conduct of the poll. 

He said his command has held several meetings with all the stakeholders in the state in ensuring peaceful conduct of the election. 

He commended the stakeholders, political parties, state electoral body and security men for the success of the election. 

He warned against violence conduct after the declaration of winners, saying any miscreants or thugs that want to forment troubles will be dealt with accordingly.
