Nobody will Rig out Any Party--- OYSIEC BOSS
Olagunju (SAN) has assured political parties participating in Saturday 22 May local government election in the state of free and fair election.
OYSIEC Boss addressed the media shortly after the distribution of sensitive materials to all the local government areas of the state.
He said that though initially when they started,"there was trust and confidence deficit" but they were able to convince the political parties that they are transparent and ready to conduct free fear and credible election.
According to him,"we visited the 18 political parties, religious organization and other stakeholders in the state to sell our vision and idea to them. " On Tuesday,we started the distribution of non- sensitive materials,"we did not start until the police arrived.
Appealing to all parties to please be orderly and peaceful," let this reflect on your conduct during the election,
he added that the vote of the people of Oyo state will count.
OYSIEC Boss,stress the need on issue of security that they neef appreciated the commissioner of police Oyo state and her team and other security agencies for their efforts in ensuring a hitch free exercise, to this end, the commission also introduce portals and websites to monitor the election, while admonishing citizens to go out and vote for candidate of their choice,it is who they voted for that will emerge as winners.".He added.
