Ibadan Council of Baales Attends Gov.Makinde Re-election Celebration.

Highly respected businessman, chief Dotun Sanusi, a mogaji in Ibadanland who doubles as Otun Apesinola of Ibadanland organized celebration party in connection with re-election of Governor Seyi Makinde on Tuesday, March 21 at Ilaji Resort and Sports in Akanran, Ona Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State . 

The event which attracted attendance of Who is Who across the nooks and crannies of Oyo State and Nigeria at large commenced in the early hours of Tuesday as the chairman of Ibadan Council of Baales, Elder Taye Ayorinde and all other participants wearing smiling faces. 

While speaking, Governor Seyi Makinde thanked God Almighty and good people of pacesetter state regardless of political affiliation, religions and other dichotomies, for working diligently, patriotically and conscientiously towards possibility of his second term of office.

Makinde gave special commendation to chief Dotun Sanusi, Elder Taye Ayorinde,  traditional rulers across the state, traders, artisans and all concerned quarters Who stood firmly without minding all odds that seemed to make re-election impossible.

Gov.Seyi maintained that, elections have come and gone, while all electioneering promises made during campaign would be fulfilled in order to move good people of Oyo State from poverty to prosperity.

He pledged to consolidate on path of his unprecedented feats attained in his first term of office, while the newly slogan of Omituntun 2.0 would be continuation of implementation of developmental programmes targeted at making the state a better place to live.

The re-elected governor of Oyo state  pinpointed commitment to governance of inclusiveness that would condemn religious, tribal, political sentiments and other attached acrimonious feelings.

The chairman of Ibadan Council of Baales, Elder Taye Ayorinde who could not hide his overwhelming joy, gave glory to God Almighty and appreciated all concerned quarters despite all odds and political catastrophes that preceded election.
Elder Ayorinde described Governor Seyi Makinde as a man of the people whose results garnered at the poll indicate that his re-election was truly blessed by God Almighty.  "God knows Makinde even when he was still in the womb , he is a blessing to our dear state"

Among the dignitaries and groups Who graced the occasion were governor's cabinet members; the chief Imam of Ibadanland and his council; all the zonal chief Imams in Oyo State;  CAN chairman and Christian leaders across the state; leadership of traditional worshipers and groups in Ibadan and Oyo State at large, Otun Balogun of Ibadanland, High Chief Tajudeen Ajibola, all mogajis in Ibadanland led by Magaji Asimiyu Ariori , all Baales in Ibadanland led by Elder Taye Ayorinde, Babaloja of the state, Alhaji Y.K . Abass and iyalojas to mention but a few.
