A very beautiful woman,   humane and humorous in nature, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu has a nature she took from her distinguished father and an Islamic scholar  of blessed memory in Oyo town.

She is properly groomed by her parents to face the challenges of life. 

There  are some remarkable points in her lifestyle that are worthy of note. She is a loving, caring, highly accommodating, hardworking, articulate, knowledgeable, friendly, calm, forgiving, consistent, patient, organised , brave , reliable , disciplined , honest and trustworthy Politician.

These rare qualitie that also distinguish her among her equals. 

Senator Sunmonu's dedication and perseverance  is admirable. She has reached where she is  today through sheer hard work and the will to remain focused until all the goals have been achieved. 

The 62 year old astute Politician, first woman Speaker of the  Oyo State House of Assembly , first woman Senator from Oyo Central Senatorial District and an honorary Doctoral degree awardee by the Chattered Institute of Commerce takes on more responsibility and tasks than anybody else, as she never complains but rather  transforms her toughest challenges into opportunities for growth and improvement of her people.

The elegant woman has worked hard to achieve  her goals in life and it pays off from the day she was born. 

As a caring mother , Senator Sunmonu handles her children with  love and logic because she knows children  make mistakes. So do parents.

According to her, " but whether your kids do something to you or to someone else, forgiveness and lessons learnt help them grow into a good person.

"If forgiving children is one of the qualities of a good mother, then staying calm is also a requirement".

She understands that motherhood is an emotional experience, and sometimes it’s hard to control one's  temper, even if one has never had a “temper problem” before.

" When your patience is low, you’re tired, and you’re feeling stressed, it’s easy to lose your temper", Senator Sunmonu stated.
