OYO State Local Government Poll, a little delay of Election Materials Arrives polling Unity.

As election into Local government chairmanship and councilorship for the 33 local government in Oyo state is progresing, party representatives and voters have described the exercise as scam in the part of oppositions.

 Our man, Raifu Olatunbosun monitoring the exercise reported that Officials of  Oyo State independent Electoral Commission, OYSIEC, arrived virtually all the polling units of the election  late while voters and party representatives were fully on ground.

Various security agencies which included officers and men of the Nigeria police force, Nigeria Army, NSCDC, Department of state security service among others were on hand to ensure peace and protection of lives and property.

Speaking with Oduduwa watch news at Ward 7, Unit 10, Ibadan S/W,  SUPEB chairman,  Nureni Aderemi Adeniran stated that the election has been so peaceful and expressed hope that it would be violent free all through.

 At Ibadan SouthWest, Unit 5 , Hon. Dikrullai Stanley a.k.a Odidiomo advised the voters to be patient with the officials of OYSIEC.

The People's Demoratic Party (PDP) Candidate of the Ibadan North Local Government Hon.Oluwaseun Olufade, also appreciate the OYSIEC for the election Conduct, said that despite the facts that there was a little delay of the arrival of election materials to the polling unit due to transportation problem, because the driver complaint of the vehicle gear  having issues, but the oyiec officer in every polling unit doubled up the activity and make sure the electorates cast their vote accordingly.

While appreciate the Executive Governor of Oyo stata, Engr Seyi Makinde for enabling environment he has given them to contest , he said Governor Seyi has made tremendous achievement and a landmark in his administration which if by God grace he win this local government poll, his is going to follow is foot steps.
